No fix for the chirp/squeek!!??

I've just been told by Snows Seat portsmouth that there is no fix for the squeeky water pumps on the TSI engines and the VAG are holding onto the new revised pumps as they still do not fix the problem Apparently the new pumps still squeek

Has anyone else been refused a replacement pump this year??

I'm temped to boycot the showroom untill I get my car fixed!

2 months ago i get the new waterpump because my old one makes also this squeeky noise.
since they replaced it everything is okay...

I did today,
Saying my chassis number didn't match what VAG were saying needed the replacement?
Although its my belt that making a clicking noise when I accelerate.

I've had this arguement with them today I've got a 16.5+K car that sounds like a heap of SH£$% and they would do jack all about it! This will be last Seat I EVER buy me thinks it only 3 months old and breaking ALREADY!

Thats a load of old balls mate mine was done back in the summer, there were no more squeaks until it went in back in November.

I don't care how many times they have to replace it until there is a proper fix for the engines but at the moment it sounds like an old banger! really not happy with my dealership... they werent even going to call me to inform me! I've just rang SEAT UK there gonna give the dealer a kick up the arse tomorrow!

Yeah I saw that thread and the Snows SEAT master tech agreed with what Techie said and said there are now revised pumps so I thought, great rang up today to book it in and the TW&* on the desk said the DISS report had been sent off and they'd been told there is no fix for the problem and I have to wait 6months for a fix!?!?!? Ill be dumping the car there and demanding a refund if they don't fix it!

I'm starting to think a megan sport would of been a better bet..... and thats worrying! haha

Dont let them fob you off, I had a whole rake of issues with mine. Its all sorted now, needless to say I have had a new box, rebuilt turbo, new injectors, new plugs, and the pump for the charger. Been out for another drive tonight and its absolutely fine. I can say that my dealer did make a good job of it all, SEAT were a wee bit of a mare at times, cant say much more as the whole issue is still on going, re looking after us in general with our concerns.

Hi matey my water pump is being fitted this friday as the techie guy at my dealers said their was a bulletin sent out about it so I let you guys know how it goes. I also having the the boot release button replaced as keeps sticking and they also changing the poxy toy horn for twins

Do you think you could get them to email me a copy of the memo being sent about?? If I PM you my email address would you pass it on to your dealer because im getting no where with mine .

My dealer won't swap it due to there being certain chassis codes that can only have the new pump.
