Nocking noise

today i jacked my car up to see if i could find what the annoying nocking noise was when driving along bumpy roads, anyways.... to my suprise the anti rollbar had slid across to the left causing it to rub against the bottom off the engine, so i undid the bolts and moved it across, when it was then tightened up the bar was still moving, so i checked the bushes on the antiroll bar and they absolutely knackerd...having just had my car into seat and they claimed on the invoice that they had done the tracking, the tracking bolts had not even been touched. how much would i be looking at for a set of bushes for the antiroll bar?

Going to be fitting my coilies on Friday and might just replace them when im down there

mate if u take ur car bk 2 seat, you should be able to get ur arb replaced for free, i had mine dun 4 free, because the older style arb can knock on the drive shaft, so seat made a new modified one. i duno weather they made a recall?

im not sure mate lol, i just know its nocking on the bottom of the engine and i cant fasten it central until i get the new bushes so its going to be nocking for another week

got a price on them today, was about 4pound odd for the pair, but apparently they are part of the AntiRoll bar, so looks like i will have to get a new one of them too lol.

Think alot of people have replaced the front ARB and bushes with fabia VRS one as it has different better bushes maybe worth thinking about. Ask Altech he has done this.

around the £60 apparently, bit of a joke to be honest cause i only need the bushes which are about £4 for a pair lol

I doubt they are much more really, but IMO if you are forking out for a new one may as well get a better on so it doesn't happen again surely?

sorry to post in here but got a related question. I dont know much about cars but have a similar nocking sound and by reading alot of the threads sounds like its the bushes.
just wondering whether replacing the ARB affects the ride quality because i've got a ibiza 130 sport and the ride is quite harsh and feels like its crashing with with every ramp.
If it does affect it in anyay, would I be better off getting the VRS one mentioned above?

Will a VRS ARB fit a 1.2 without rubbing anything as my standard roll bar has those plastic retainers and they are also worn out.
