Have any of you guys with big brake conversions..drilled & grooved discs noticed an increase in noise since fitting ?

The reason I ask is that since installing my ECS brakes my Leon is making a noise much like a wheel bearing going down, I am sure it wasnt there before I did the conversion.

have just fitted grooved discs myself and thats the exact noise they make, glad its normal, the brakes aren't run in yet but i think they're getting a little quieter already, either that or i'm getting used to the noise.

Im worried about my brakes, I have drilled and grooved discs front and back. Standard pads on the front and yellowstuff pads on the back, Might make a horride grinding noise and the brake petal feels like the ABS is kicking in. This happens for the 1st 10 mins or so when i drive the car from cold.
Is this normal of Grooved&Drilled discs?
