i was looking at buying a mk2 leon 2.0 tdi 150... insurance was £482..
current insurance on a mk3 1.4 = £700

DB9 wasn't on the list, so tried a quote for a Vanquish.
Come back with £4,000. Less than adam on a LCR or Ibiza Cupra.
Needless to say, he isn't happy right now!

im tempted to go and hack up my front bumper a bit.... make it look a little different, only thing is, not sure if i should as i may try and sell the beasty soon.
More than likely our 1.4 will be getting replaced with a Cupra soon, Mrs is doing longer trips and going up more hills so a bigger engine is going to work out more economical as it wouldn't have to be ragged!

Hey dudes, got a 1600 sport here and its well nice! Got quite a lot of flare round the corners - span it off a roundabout in the wet but was all fine. Lost the back end a coupla times, but in the dry....maaaan its like sex
But yeah, anyway...i like the black skirts, but have been tempted by cupra body kit + seats. In the process of some Vibe QB69s, amp + CD changer. Put in some 4x6s in the boot + K&N under the bonnet. Great engine noise but sometimes idles at 1000rpm + doesnt quite pull properly when searching for revs...

clean the throttle body, should help the revs
got a re quote on my ibiza today... £368 fully comp but £500 excess
sounds like a decent price tbh, i know its not a performance car but for a 21 year old its not bad imo.
