yer there all exactly the same plug fitment hose fitment and mounting fitment
just difertent internaly all made by pierburg
 
ive run a bleed valve on one b4 o.k. much fun:):):):)

Bet that was fun to set up. Thought about either a bleed valve or even a restrictor in the hose before the N75 but fine tuning would be a nightmare and not sure its worth it on k03. I can see me going from no boost to too much boost.
 
Dam it! :mad: Been fine the last couple of days now suddenly zero boost again! :( Could the N75 give intermitent faults like this or is it a case of either it works or it dosnt?
 
test the actuator with a mityvac to see if it holds vacom if o.k. take off turbo to see if its carboned up and clean it out

Not sure if i know anyone with a mityvac :cry: And i defo don't have the equipment (ramps etc) to be whipping the turbo off. Also i need the car daily to get to work, otherwise i'd take my time and strip it off on the drive. No other way of telling? Will vagcom shed any light if that is the case?

nah if youve done all electrical tests and r getting no fault codes then i suspect it's down to a mechanical problem

Well now that the problem has come back i'll check for codes tomorrow one final time and see if anything has popped up, then have another good poke around the engine at all the pipes and wires. Failing that it may be a case of finding somewhere to get the car in the air and have a looksy at the turbo. Cheers :)
 
Still none the wiser, vagcom shows no codes. Also worth mentioning that now i have no boost the exhaust constantly sounds like its blowing even when warmed up fully. Would a stuck open wastegate cause this noise?
