Iv been lookin under my bonnet jist checking everything is fine and i noticed that at the bottom of my badger5 3" tip is abit kinked at the bottom wher the bend is, just before it joins the turbo. Does anybody think this is restricting the tip of what it can do?? Heres some pics. Not very clear but you might see what i mean. Cheers

Iv cut the hose down quite abit wen i got it. Il try it tmorrow. Its been like tht for about 5 months. Might be loosin sum bhp?

I had to cut loads off mine. I would say that kink is costing you some airflow and a few horses.

its too long if its being pushed to that extent..
The red hoses come with much longer tails than the blue or blacks as its a different supplier

perhaps it should have been mentioned to the buyer if the red hoses are longer. im sure he would have wanted to know when purchasing.
cant just blame the supplier and sell it on

As when fitting anything you need a certain amount of common sense and not every car is the same so need some adjusting to fit
I would rather have it 50-60mm too long than 5mm short, any silicon product always states about trimming to suit fitment

Iv trimmed it a fair bit tbh. I new i had to trim it by looking at it. But not cut it enough. Iv had ut on for months like this but didnt think it would make a djfference. But if people are sayin that it does then il sort it

I bought the red one months ago and it's not been trimmed.

Fits perfect no squashing of any kind over here.

Mmm..thats strange. Coz sambryant has trimmed his to fit amd so have a few others. Iv trimmed mine but not enough

Yeah a bit weird mate. Maybe it's my setup near the jetex which affects that... Hmm.

You got a pic? Maybe it is your jetex. I have a heatshield so thats restricting my jetex as to where i can move it. That may be part of the problem

Il trim it abit more later on when i get home. Have to take it all off again :( after 5 months of it being squashed i might notice a difference wen its all free flowing :)

my tip was a pain in the ass to fit took me ages as getting past the hard pipework on my lc and experiencing power problems do you think mine would need cutting down?
