Im I the only person who thinks that the only acceptable working solution to the VW NOx emission situation is to retrofit the SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) Adblue urea exhaust injection system currently used in the Alhambra to the Exeo 2.0tdi and others ?
Ive looked it up and there are companies out there that appear to offer it, so SEAT should be able to do it ? I believe it would mean a new DPF, Adblue tank and a few other bits. This would of course represent a huge expense to VW/SEAT which is probably why they havnt suggested it.
So far a solution that reduces power (which is why I bought the 170) and probably torque as well (something else they have not mentioned) is very unappealing.
As a customer the more I feel "managed" by SEAT over this the more likely I am to tell them im not interested in their so far non existent "fix" !
