Number Plate Light

Hello

One of the rear number plate lights on my Leon has apparently died, and I've tried to no avail to remove the cover and replace the bulb. Tried searching the forum for instructions on how to open it, but couldn't find anything, and the handbook is not being helpful at all.

Anyone got better instructions?

The cover has a small tab that is simply pushed across with a small screwdriver. The tab is located nearest the numberplate on either side. And is pushed from right to left on the left cover and from left to right on the right cover.
