O2 sensor

Hi can anyone tell me if the o2 sensor on my lcr is the sensor near the turbo or the cat?

The one for the mpg/general running is near the turbo the one after the cat is purely for registering the gasses after the cat

Ok thanks just got engine light on an got told was possible o2 sensor an Maf changed Maf light went off now has come back on an every so offen the engine desides to rev at 2500rpm all by it self an is drinking more petrol than normal!

The EML comes on when a fault is stored, the fault can be literally anything engine related.

From your description by money is on a cts or/and the thermostat faulty.Does the temp gauge sit at 90?

Vag-com is a god send for these cars, and should be on everyones to buy list (can be had far cheaper too)

Temp sits at 90 an has a couple of time just seemed to turn off an drop to nothing!

My moneys on the cts sensor then don't be buying a cheap one seremotors a dealer on here will give you a very good price for genuine

I'd only use genuine bosch tbh try gsf/ecp see what they are bearing in mind there are usually money off codes fling about Midmonth25 is useable on ecp at the mo iirc
