now i'm new to this turbo ecu tuning lark (come from the n/a stable)

im interested in remaps and unleashing the hidden power in my tdi fr however i have some issues...

i was dead set on getting a bluefin for the plug and play bonus but then the more reseach i have done, the more i have come across the friendly back street specialist that will remap your car for 200 notes, caiming a 40bhp increase

can someone please explain the pros/cons of this method nd tell me what "millenium OBD tuning" is all about?

go easy, im new!

cheers

dont go to a back street garage , go to one of the main dealers Revo , superchips , custom code , superchips , rs tuning or apr.

do it once do it right plus you will have back up and years of proved figures and problem solving , not to mention an upgrade path.

It's the old "you get what you pay for" debate. Back street chap without the back-up of a company trying to protect its reputable image. Wouldn't touch it with a barge pole.

Would you want the trainee doctor doing your open heart surgery or the specialist? That's basically what you're talking about in car terms.
