Hi All,

I have a Leon Cupra 20v T 2001 Y reg.
My question is how do you tell if your OBD connector is VAG-COM or Can-Bus?
I have got a VAG-CON cable but am unable to get the laptop to communicate with the car and am thinking that maybe I have the wrong cable for it.

Please help as I'm itching to have a chat with the ECU.

yours is not can-bus

where you get your cable?

usb or serial?

The cable is usb and got it from ebay.
So the connector on the car is VAG-COM?

All sorted now. The problem was a driver issue.
