OBD11 & Enabling on screen reversing display (Park Pilot) - is this normal?

Hi all, I'm a first time poster and have just bought a 2017 Leon Dynamic Technology.

I only had the audible parking sensors so bought an OBDeleven to enable to on screen Park Pilot, which I have done using the app. This seems to be working fine, but my question is, should the on screen Park Pilot display return to normal after shifting into neutral/1st gear? The Park Pilot screen stays on and I have to tap 'Back' on screen or press the home button.

Is this how is it supposed to behave, of have I made a mistake somewhere when enabling this?

Any help appreciated!!

Hi Kenny. It only goes back to normal after you've driven forward over a certain speed. Have you tried driving it since making the change?

Yeah it doesn’t go away quickly, it waits until your over 15mph I think.

Thanks for taking the time to reply. Yep, once I started driving the screen returned to normal, so it's all working perfectly!
