Serious subject and yes people should get Tyre checked along with breaks they both keep you alive

however on the lighter side of life

Was that after a day on Anglesey by any chance - I only ask as I am going there soon.
 
Both sets of tyres are for track use, so they get abused a lot.
Mine are brand new but have as you can see only a partial grove for rain, but are sticky to provide stronger grip when throwing the car round corners at speed but still give grip when its raining (see below).

It certainly is, I shall be going back there again that's for sure

How often do you get through tyres when racing circuits?
Depends on many things, I run two sets of wheels (Quality Road Tyres and Quality Semi Slicks) I would expect to have to replace one set of tyres at the end of the season but again it depends on how many track days I do and on what circuits (Anglesey is hard on tyres) other tracks are not so.
