If your car looks black in certain lighting conditions, I would go for a colour that looks a shade or two lighter (than black) to give a bit of colour contrast between the wheels and car colour. IMHO black alloys on a blue/black car would be too much black, and with black alloys you tend to lose the design detail of the alloys, unless you’re standing very close to the car.
I think that mid or lighter shade of anthracite grey would look good. Alternatively, I think shadow chrome in the picture posted by @stugee106 in post #6 looks very good.

I like the style & colour of those wheels but the tyres look the wrong size & very stretched. The tyre's rim protection band is nowhere near giving any protection.Think I've decided on shadow chrome.
