Couldn't hold off any longer, new wheels fitted and so much nicer that the original diamond cut style.
@stugee106 said in post #6 they were getting smoked chrome colour. I suspect the finish is a powder coated finish. They look amazing! What was the paint code & finish?

Thanks, although it doesn’t really help! I wanted to know the paint code for the colour & finish i.e. matt, gloss, etc.
As @MaverickCoop said, the wheels were powdercoated gloss black with a chrome paint spray applied. The more coats of the chrome spray, the lighter the silver colour. Actually can't believe how good they look on the flesh, pictures do not do them justice! Thanks, although it doesn’t really help! Oh nice! Not keeping the 18s for the winter?Bit the bullet and won these on eBay yesterday. Anyone want to buy a set of 18' machined performance alloys.

No, only just put 2 Michelin PS4 on the front, and now have to buy 4 new tyres for these, so I need to recoup some money.Oh nice! Not keeping the 18s for the winter?
I had mine done gloss black too. Look great!I went gloss black after the lacquer started to peel on a couple of my wheels - they look far better than I was expecting.

Smoked chrome powder coat is the way to go; go on, do it!That looks stunning, I don't mind the original finish on the Cupra 19s but that's taken them to a new level. You can actually see the details of the wheel now.
I was going to get 2 of my 19s redone as OEM (two little kerb marks added by the previous owner) but you've got me thinking now....
