do you have an oil light on the lcr or do you mean coolant?

if youve physically lost 2.5 litres of oil over a month... it must be going somewhere? any smoke? in oil in the expension tank?

no expert but oil loss isnt good. could be valve stem seals, turbo, rings, head gasket...

if you have a illuminated oil can on your dash.. you may have lost oil pressure. id ring a garage for advice? i wouldnt drive it. is that the warning light you have?

yer it comes in 2 diff colours red is well bad and ur doin damage and yellow is somethin else, well i had the yellow 1 so i pulled over and topped her up
the light has gone out and i had 2 drive home n i had no noises or anythin and the light aint com bac on
so i assume im burnin it somewhere.

Mine did something similar to that that i checked my oil every other week it was fine plenty in, then i left it for a few month (2) looked and id lost loads on the dipstick. the light on the dash wasnt on but it was low on the dipstick so i topped it up. i asked seat why this was or any reason. he said if there is no sign of oil on the drive after park then its propbably because its fairly new and low mileage its mainly cus its wearing in.

Just for the record my eats oil too, got it serviced a couple of months back and after the 2k miles the yellow light came on, the level was at the bottom of the dip, topped it up and away i went. Its always been like this and the garage told me it was probably from drivin the car hard. There are a million posts on here about LCR burning oil, i won't worry about it, as long as its not the red oil light for low oil pressure.
