I had an engine rebuild recently and changed the oil after 500 miles. It has now done a further 2000 miles so I was just about to change the oil again when I noticed oil dripping from the sump. I have wiped the oil away and ran the engine until warm and it appears that there is some oil leaking from around the sump on one side. I have notice there are 2 holes in the sump an the side nearest the gearbox with no bolts in, I was wondering if there should be bolts here to create a tight seal as this appears to be where the oil is getting through.

I've had it at SEAT dealer today and they confirmed 3 missing bolts from the gearbox. also missing seal from the rocker cover to the breather pipe, and 2 missing bolts from the intercooler pipe.

Not sure fitting the missing bolts will cure the oil leak from the sump area though ?
