Hello,

Hoping someone can help with this. The car has been leaking oil lately so I cleaned up the area yesterday to try and pinpoint the problem. There was a lot of oil around a sensor on the passenger side of the engine and when I checked again this morning, that's where most of it was again.

Is this only a symptom of a larger leak or is it possible that replacing this will solve the problem. I have her booked into the garage for Monday but if it's something I can fix, obviously, i will try to fix it myself. Will I need to drain oil for this job?

Any suggestions welcome, david :)

thats the oil pressure switch mate should be a 5min job to replace, they leak because the seal on the switch has given up

thanks for that, appreciate it. i'll replace it before i bring it to garage and keep an eye on the leak.
