Oil leak. Whats this?

I have a very slight oil leak. Checked under the car tonight and found the source....is this the oil filter?

This is the oil, at least its not chucking it out, oil levels are fine and you can see the oils very clean....this is about a months worth, it's like 2 tiny 'puddles' every night.

poor pictures but looks like the filter to me. did you try drying it off and hand tightening it?

Yeh i noticed one time when under my car i saw my oil filter with slight bit of oil dripping....as t18con. says just see if it turns slightly with you hand-mine did and been good so far.

Thanks for that, it was indeed a slack oil filter.
