Oil message

Hello there,
I'm new to this website. I've tried to use search but I didn't find solution to my problem.
I wanted to ask one question.
I noticed that I get OIL message bellow my millage when I start my car.

Does it mean that I just need to add some more oil or to change it?

Thank you guys (and gals) for your help.

P.S. It's Seat Ibiza Mk4.

You need to change the oil, it is telling you an oil service is due.

It's a standard message, you get it every few 1000 miles to remind you to service it. If you've done it recently it's not an issue and you can clear the message

No filters or any other services requires changing?

You should always change the oil filter along with the oil As mentioned you can reset the service reminder yourself. Its on here somewhere.

Procedure for reseting the service light:-

1. Ignition off ( Key OUT )
2. Hold in trip reset and whilst holding it in turn on the ignition
3. Keep holding the trip reset in untill you see --:--
4. Turn trip reset to the right.
5. Release trip reset and turn off ignition ( key OUT )
6. turn ignition back on and all should be reset.

Mines been on for an annoyingly long time, never gotten round to working out how to reset it, cheers!
