Oil only reading on one side of the Dip Stick???

I check my oil weekly. Checked it twice this week to make sure I wasn't going loopy and my oil levels only show on one side of the dipstick? Always on the side facing towards the back of the engine, does anyone else have this problem? It's a flat, level road so I don't see why this is happening?

Mabe its a lil bent so when you pull the stick out it scratches the oil off on one side?
(Cant remember if I have the same..)

Could be bent? Although It doesn't look bent :s haha. Just annoying as I'm not really sure how much oil is actually going in and is in there now :/

Mine does this, I just take an average of the 2. I think it runs down the stick before you get to read it.

My cars favorite trick is to say its used a 1/10, I will check it again next day and its back to normal.
