ive done boost and oil temp.

i now want to add oil pressure. the only way i know of is to add a componant from 42 draft designs. which is basically an extension block which connects to the stock pressure sensor.. and gives you 2 sender holes... one for the stock sender and one for the new gauge.

question 1.
why cant i simply tap the new gauge onto the stock pressure sensor? i.e one sender serving ecu and gauge?

question 2. oil sandwich plate. ive noticed that this is reccomended with gauges so you can have oil temp/pressure together...
is it the same idea as the 42 draft designs and if so is there room to fit it?
cant see how it works?

has anyone actually added oil pressure gauges to there set up? how did you do it?

have searched but not sure how to proceed. draft designs extension or sandwich plate?

I used an adapter from Demon Tweeks to mount the pressure switch and factory switch together in the block. The aftermarket switch works differently from the OE one, the OE one simply triggers a warning light where the aftermarket one actually reads the pressure.

Cheapest way to do it is to probably tap the block, scary but did this on my oil cooler on my R1. Probably a bit risky doing this on yours without taking it apart. I know of a few on kit cars running sandwich plates and havent heard of any problems. Can get them here http://www.thinkauto.com then get any gauge sender combo and a blank.
