I am getting my car serviced on thursday and thought I might take oil with me so at least i know what is actually going in the car.

So what do people recommend, i used to use Shell Helix in the 106 gti.

Also what grade is best for a standard cupra?

i am using the VW Gold Stuff....

its pricey at £32 a pop but its worth it!!!

I use Castrol Edge 5W-30. Recommended for the VAG FSi engines !! Not cheap at £33 for 4 litres !!

Also how many litres does it take for a oil change on the cupra? 4 litres be enough?

i currently have mobil1 fully synthetic was about 30odd from halfords

think it takes about 4.5l
