Can you remove your injectors and send them to these company's, I assume they remove them to clean them anyway?

Thing is the people already use v-power/nitro+ /whatever it's called this week and THEN use terraclean and get good results.

What lee said, but some companies do a mail order cleaning service yes. Whether it is more thorough or not -
When I have some cash burning a hole in my pocket I am definitely going to do this, probably down in newton abbot with the blokes that lee linked when i'm down seeing the misses.
Then again I might have a look and find they aren't dirty anyway as the previous owner of mine kept it immaculate.
As mentioned, my LCR is an '03 and I've had it for 5 years. For the first 2.5 years I used V-Power only; ever since, it's been mostly Sainsbury's SUL (97RON) or Momentum99, with occasional V-Power (no Shell garages locally).
I've also regularly used BG 44K "fuel system cleaner and carbon remover" and/or Wynn's, Redex, etc.
For the car's first 5 years, its sole owner wasn't fussed about fuel, although it had an fSsh with fully syn' oil. I've kept up the FSH + fully syn' - apart from a one-off service at AMD, which inexplicably used semi-syn' oil
Perhaps it's also worth mentioning that I'm anal about not using the car for short journeys, ergo, the engine temp always gets up to 90 (apart from a few months with a duff thermostat).
Tunap method doesn't remove the injectors - also worth noting that Tunap also simultaneously cleans the inlet valves and combustion chambers, etc, whereas, obviously, the remove injectors/send-away method does not.

A wee update: engine still feels sweeter, pokier, power delivery is more linear and there's a slight improvement in fuel consumption - c. 3mpg - during typical day-to-day journeys on local A/B roads.

I had this done about a year ago to my 2004 N/A 1.6 Leon and it made a difference for me, was smoother in gear, seemed to have a bit more go to it in the midrange (as much go as 105bhp can have anyway!), and mileage was up. I also had an emissions test before and after, some already pretty decent results were improved on.
The blokes who did it reckon it is becoming part of the manufacturer major services over in the USA too

i used terraclean on my Fr 150 last year and you can feel a difference the car has only done 50k as well i also use milers regular, the fr hardly smoked as well while undergoing terraclean .

Hi all, reading back i thought id share some inside knowledge here about Tunap as was a Tunap field sales rep for 7 years in my last employment. This was around 2 years ago and note I am not in the sales or automotive industry anymore, i now work in construction and sooo glad i got out of the motor trade but thats a different story!
Tunap, largest chemical in Europe, 5 sectors, make lots of well known products for other companies..eg Gilette, Nivea, Lynx in cosmetics part.. been around for over 50 years, various sectors, huge company, make their own premium specialist chemicals and most of Wurths, Normfest, Liquimoly and many others on the market.
Basically the injector clean system is approved by Merc, Vauxhall, Subaru, Suzuki, Iveco, Fiat, Alfa Romeo and Chrysler when i was employed there as were most of their products inc DPF cleaning kits and fuel additives etc etc.. Tunap work with most car manufacturers, creating chemical solutions for issues they het from the factory stage through to aftersales stage..they also work with fuel refineries and basically...they are the mutts nuts in automotive chemicals, the Terraclean system is nowhere near as effective in results, fuel economy, longevity, overall running etc etc...hence the only person backing it is Ed China (silly haircut) , who also works for Terraclean, of course!
Tunap stuff is TUV tested and approved so does what they claim on the website..and they were always years ahead of competitors like Forte, BG and Wynns...
Anyway..thats my opinion from 7 years working at Tunap..they are innovators and market leaders but rarely praised or even heard of by most

I know all Listers, Evans Halshaws and Cambria main dealers had the kits but obviously charge more.. Best bet is go to tunap.co.uk and send an email through the site asking where yr nearest garage is for an injector clean, or you can phone and ask, Mon-Fri hours tho
