Onboard computer

Hi,

I’m new to this forum; I brought an Ibiza 1.9 tdi sport last week and have a question regarding the fuel range computer! The good old fuel gauge is telling me that I’m in the reserve but in-between the bottom red line and reserve line, but the computer is saying I have 0 miles left in the tank! I was going to fill up last night but my local pay at pump Tesco was closed and which meant I had to drive home, do I trust the computer or do I go by what the fuel gauge is saying which by diesel standards should make the 10 mile trip to tesco?

id go with the fuel guage mate, i dont really take much notice of my trip computer, only thing i look at is the time tbh. hope u dont run out anyway lol

Tesco petrol is cheap and nasty mate, my car felt like crap after using it so i use Shell now.

I've done another 50-60 mile on along journey once the computer says it got nothing left and it keeps running but i get to nervous to take it any further.
