Pick up my spanking new Candy White Ibiza FR tommorrow, excited is not the word!!

Soon as I get it its home and trying to fit the new HU and aerial. Bit worried about moving the anti-theft one, will it come off easily or will I need to feck about with pliers etc.?

lol, lets just hope you get to sleep and not roll around trying (makes the night a hell of a lot longer lol)

Yes the aerial needs a good tug to remove! be sure to hold the base of the aerial!

once the mods are done, get some pictures up! :D

Unscrew then give the aerial a good pull to remove it. Make sure you get/make a note of your radio code before you disconnect the stereo in case you want to put it back in/sell it.

Picked up at half 9 this morning and only just got out of it!!! :D:D

Thanks for all the advice, just unscrewed, tugged for a while and then I exploded in joy when I I eventually got it off!!

New head unit fitted also, bar stewards sent me the wrong cables for my steering wheel controls but head unit is unbelieavable - if anyone is looking for a new one would seriously recommend this - bass and sound quality from even the standard set up has to be heard to be believed.

Overall, very very chuffed!!! Will get pics up as soon as.

Cheers for all your help guys over the past few weeks.

Hope that works, if not not a clue how to post pics!!

Head unit I went for is Sony MEX BT5000, got bluetooth so it works as a handsfree for my phone through the speakers with a built in microphone and you can stream music from your phone to it.

As I said - sound quality is amazin!

Seeing the brand new one has forced me into going to wash mine now. Looking good, got any pictures of the head unit fitted in the car?

Head Unit fitted. Is still cracking, although radio reception not the best even with the aerial booster. F**K it, thats what CD's are for!!

Still not tracked down leads to be able to use the steering wheel controls.

Does anyone have stalk adapter for the mk4 fitted????
