Well, changed the plugs, removed and bypassed the n112 and n249 relays with resistors.
Removed and cleaned the throttle position sensor, and throttle body.
And still nope!
Removed all vac hoses, and still its going into safe mode.
Any idea's???

im having a simualr problem of long tern lean multi,not sure if is linked but found the fuse box on the batt was causing probs with the fans (air con)and the re circ pump (when stop the car water noise)where not working wiggled the box and started working.only found this out today so looking in to it.today replaced lambda pre cat and wiggled box was fine till almost home fault coming up again.
Not sure if fuse box has poor connection or earth etc,feel could be causing poor connections to probes maf etc.
worth look at maybe!! have you had other elec probs?
