I wonder if anyone can help. I had a spare key made from an auto specialist who said the microchip in the new key was coded/copied from the original key.
Both keys can operate the central locking and can start the car. However, the duplicate key, won’t open/close the windows on long press of the lock/unlock button on the key fob. The original key has this ability, but not the copied key.
The new key is already “synced” as it can operate the car (alarm, ignition, immobiliser) in the same was as the original. Following the sync instructions again, does not restore the functionality to open/close the windows.
Can someone help please..?
