Hi everyone, just ordered the bluefin stage 1 from JKM yesterday should hopely receive it today :D, though i was wondering i have the following modifications on my car does the map they send for you to download need to be adjusted in anyway? wonder what sort of power i should be seeing

Forge Twintercooler
Forge DV
Milltek turbo back system
Pipercross Panel Filter
Eibach Sportline Kit

Anyone know if the settings can be altered or change to take the modifications into account? i know theres stage 2 but i want to run stage 1 for the time being [B)]

As far as I am aware, you upload the original map to Bluefin and also tell them what mods are on your car, they then make a map to best suit your car, although I maybe wrong but that's what I've gathered.

Danny.

If you order it direct from superchips you will pay £435 for it mate, i ordered from JKM performance on these forums (site sponsor) and it cost £390 including delivery [B)] very good customer service as well.

I still thinking about Stage 1 Bluefin for mine and I will decide for definite in two weeks. The only reason I keep holding off is that I only travel between 10 - 14 miles per day on average. I will just need to keep going for spirited drives if I get done.

For the mods above you may be able to go Stage 2 which is an extra from Superchips, although you will have to call them to upgrade. They may request that you also have a CAI instead of a panel filter.

Let me know how Stage 1 goes.

Cheers

No problems Ricky, i travel no more than 30miles a day for work, and the odd long journey from time to time on the weekend, but i think the stage 1 map on the car will smooth it out a little and run better, with the mods ive done it should complement it more than standard, sure ill let you know how it goes. I thought about stage 2 but for now ill be happy to stick to stage 1 and decide at a later date what to do next.

Well received my bluefin in the post this morning but can't wait to get it fitted as its saturday  ill be working 9-6 everyday next week so can you do the download of the original map and then send it to superchips and in the week they send you the modded map? thinking of doing it tomorrow if thats possible

you can do the basics like set it up on your PC, connect to car, then connect to PC and send off your original map, you will then get a text and email to say the map is ready connet it back to the PC upload the map and then connect back to the car. I sent my map off to superchips at 5.20 one evening and by 5.40 the car was mapped :) i'd get everything ready now so tha come monday morning you can remap the car and enjoy :)

i'd just go for the standard map although with you mods i think you could go straight for stage 2 with no tweeking. I'm sure the new map will only be sent during working hours as they select it manually i think or at least i'm sure that was the case when I visited, however if you get eveything done tomorroe by the tim e you get home on monday you will be able to load the newmap and enjoy :)

Well guys installed the bluefin last week and went up for the loughborough rolling road day and got 279.6bhp on the rollers  although alot of cars on the day not making figures including a standard LCR making 210bhp when it was the 225bhp model.

After looking at the AirFuel Ratio graph i understand it should be running 12.5 all the way through for a forced induction car to be normal, but mine from 2000rpm was making 13.5 till 4500rpm it went down to 12.4 which is about right .. so looks like im running slighly lean :( but speaking to superchips today they feel it maybe down to running stage 1 with the mods ive done :help: wonder whether its worth going for stage 2 and see how i get on?
