Hi everyone,

I ordered a Leon Cupra 300 DSG back in April (as a lease) through a third party. I was given a delivery date of August (before the WLTP changes came in to force).

Since then I've been contacted by the dealer that the delivery was delayed, and due to WLTP changes this could now be delivered as late as October. As of today, the car is still waiting to be allocated a build week, so no progress as of yet. Inconvenience as I've had to make arrangements, but it doesn't sound like much can be done about it.

I noticed a few articles about the Cupra 300 being downgraded to 290 bhp due to the new emissions tests. Does this mean the 300 won't be manufactured any further? Not sure how SEAT are going to manage orders for the 300 that are already in the system?

Is anyone else in a similar position, and does anyone have more info on when Cupras will return to the production line? At the time of writing this article, the leon cupra is still unavailable for purchase from the SEAT website, but other models such as the FR have returned (after being removed for a short period). Only reason I mention this is that other affected cars appear to be returning back to normal, but not the Cupra?

Thanks!
