Dad is going to be ordering a FR TDi with the following. Zenith grey with the spoiler and 18inch wheels from the Aero kit, Bluetooth, Bi-xenons, and the Ipod kit. So thats us going to be a 3 Seat family!

Just out of interest we looked at the equivalent A3 and this worked out to be over £5k more due to things like climate control not being standard, cruise control etc.

Drove the FR last week. The engine was still very tight but it pulls brilliantly. We only managed an average of 29mpg but think that was because of it being brand new and us giving it some stick!

Saw a red one yesterday in ashton - not sure if it was petrol or d coz i only saw it side-on but it was nice - I like A3's but hard to justify £5k for a badge!

Ordered :p Are we the first? Didn't go for the xenons in the end as meant about a 16week wait! Instead we could have it on Tuesday next week!

I`ve ordered one too Zenith grey with the full aero kit,i-pod connection directional xenons and the convenience pack all ready for the 1st of september. Own a black tdi sport new leon at the moment happy with them so now on my 4th Seat from the same dealer hope it doesn`t get delayed as we had the sport on the launch weekend and got loads of admiring glances.

you must have taken a huge hit in depreciation on the sport after only a year and had little deposit for the FR taking into consideration the small amount paid of the finance as well. Ive got a sport and im only jeolous!

Hi Guys

New to this forum as just ordered an Leon FR Tdi.

Can't believe you guys are getting your cars so quick!!

I ordered mine mid June and I've got an estimated delivery of end of October!!

It is specced up pretty high and the month shut down at the Seat Factory isn't helping, but a three month wait does still take the mick a bit.

In my LeonFR 2.0 TDI
It's a Luna Grey FR with no options ( cept the metallic paint rip off ), for a couple of reasons,

1, it was on the dealers order already and avaliable instantly.
2, as im trading in my leon, the tax runs out at the end of the month, dont want that hassle.
3, the colour was one of our acceptable ones.
4, were pretty skint, lol
5, After driving the Altea FR TDI I just want a Leon FR asap.

I just got off the phone to the dealer, and he said we cant have the car before its launch, THE 15TH, thats next Saturday, WOOOOOHOOOOO

only trouble with luna is that it doesnt show off the FR styling so well, red is awesome and crono is out of this world!! petrol all the way, should get at least 12 months out of it before cupra is readily available...

My local stealer has a red petrol one and it does look good. Just called another dealer and he reckons there will only be 650 of each every yearand if I don't order one now (which I can drive away next weekend btw) I WON'T GET ONE TILL NEXT YEAR.
I can definately smell those farmyards again!

despite going against the norm, he probably isnt far wrong, Leon is doing so well across Europe that they cant build them quick enough, thats why some other threads on here have people moaning about 17 week lead times on Stylance models!! take the plunge, looks so good in red and the petrol is the one to go for

Just make sure you verify what the dealer says when it comes to the exact spec of the car. The spec of car varied depending on who I talked to when I bought mine, although I think the cars themselves never changed !
One guy didn't know about the intelligent wipers, another said the mirrors were heated permanently, another was prepared to take my money for adding heated seats and the Bluetooth preparation to a car they had in stock, even though it would have been virtually impossible to do either !
