Original speakers question.

What I would like to know is, do the orginal speakers have a crossover? If so, where is this located?

I would also like to know, what rating do you reckon the orginal speakers are? Say 30watt RMS?

The original speakers have a passive filter for the tweeter, so I suppose you could say they have a kind of crossover. But not the kind you would buy from a audio specailist.

The speakers have no power rating on them, but would guess they were 45-50WRMS.

IN stock twiters, inside their body, on plus wire - soldered a small resistor which cut all frequancy and pass on twiter only high level. The best way to change twiters on separate, twitter+crossover, but differense are not very big- for majority of people.
