Hi,

i have a 2009 FR TDI BTCC in bright orange.

Is there any way i can find out the original spec of the car? As i’m interested to find out if the BTCC kit and Seat BBS alloy are factory fitted, as well as the paint job.

Heading to Seat for a service next month so they may be able to shed some light.

Cheers,

Matt

Check in the service book or in the boot for one of these

The three digit codes in the bottom section will tell you the original spec of the car.

Then go here http://vag-codes.info to Input the codes and it will decipher codes giving you the original spec of your car.

Ah that is great thankyou, do I separately enter all of the 3 digit codes? Assuming each code will tell me something different?

Thanks again!

Unfortunately yes. You have to do them one by one.

Each code will tell you some aspect of your cars original spec.
