Orignal Composet Filter location

Dear All,

I own a Mk2 Ibiza from 1998
I am changing the orinal composet with a new 3way set, (without tweater). I cannot find the location of the filter which seperates the high and low tones. Does anyone know where and how to get to the orignal filter, such that i can get it out of the wiring system.

Also some basic information on how the speaker cables are seperate and where they are seperated would be handy

Hi,

The crossover for the original Seat speakers, isnt a crossover at all. It is just a high pass filter, mounted/attatched to the Tweeter units that are on each side of the top of the dashboard.

When you remove the unit, the filter comes out too.
