Not sure if it's the same as the Leon. But when my mirrors have got stuck before, I've moved the offending mirror manually. In winter I try to leave them open as much as possible. Every 6-8 weeks fold them and stick a wd40 straw inside and spray lithium grease on the mechanism to keep the water out / freezing.

Did you manage to fix this? Mine has one folded and one out. When I turn the switch the swap over so they are the other way round.

Hello people I've solved the wing mirror problem/issue!

I had the same issue paid to get a second hand part and dissected it to find out a lot of few things.

For the seat Leon mk2 folding mirrors doing the opposite when folding one opening and one folding there is a solution and it works:

(Easy mode saves time from you from opening the door card ) The the motor that folds the mirrors is a DC motor what you can do is switch the polarity of the wires that go into the motor to reverse the behaviour of the folding wing mirror

1. Make sure to disconnect the battery! (Don’t want to short out your fuses) You will need to pop out the mirror from the mirror mount and then next you will see the motorized base where the mirror clips on

2 . In that base there are tiny 3 torxs screws that secure that base to the mirror unit

3 Once off you should see the motor near where the arm is of the whole unit there is a harness that connects to it it only has two wires out of the whole unit its the only harnesses that has two wires so its not hard to find should be a red wire and black/ brown strip wire.

4. Pull out the harness and you will need to swap the connection to do so you will need a small pin can be the one you from your iPhone to get your sim card out or a pic etc.

5. you will see a tab on the back side of the harness it will pop open with your nail or a pic

6. You will next need to see in the connection part of the harness there is a little gap above these little two metal terminal connectors that's where you push your pin in what this does is push in the fin down that secures the metal terminals into the harness so you can take the metal terminal out of the harness

7. Once the terminals are out push up the fin on the terminals so they can be prep to be placed back in the terminals again but in there different positions

8. place the terminals in into the harness in there opposite positions

9. Then assemble the mirror base and mirror watch your folding mirrors work together once more

might do a video explaining this if people need it but it defiantly works

hope this helps
