Outside air intake to air vents location ?

Hi all,

just picked up some air conditioner cleaner & sanitizer,

Instructions say to spray directly into the vehicles fresh air intake vent ?

does anyone know where that is located on the ibiza cupra tdi ?

Obviously not the air intake to the air filter but the one that leads to the internal air vents of the car

Somewhere under the scuttle panel at the bottom of the windscreen I think.

The usual way to do it is set the air on to recirc with the blower on full then set off one of these aerosol bombs jump out and shut the doors and wait for it to clear before you open the doors again.

Forgot to mention worth changing the pollen filter before you do this first.

It's under the scuttle panel on the passenger's side. There's a wee cover over the intake though so you might have to take off the scuttle panel/this cover for the stuff to work. Could you take out the pollen filter and simply spray it into there I wonder, then put the filter back in if you see what I mean? It's been a while since I took my scuttle panel off, which isn't rocket science but it might take a wee while and I think you have to take off the passenger side windscreen wiper (not just the blade) to get at it.

Thanks guys, found it. I just lifted the scuttle panel up slightly and sprayed in close to the intake vent. The force of the air flow sucked it all in and it worked a treat ! thanks all
