Over Fuelling?

I never had a problem with my Series 2 burning oil

Funny how the Rover stopped chucking out black smoke after he drained half a litre of oil isnt it

Must be a very well built cvh lump then.

Its not funny, its bullshit. Black - fuel, blue oil, end of.

Dont you just love armchair mechanics.... black/dark smoke isnt oil.

White - water
Blue - oil
Black - fuel

Thats what I was gonna say Black = Fuel !

If you can get over this neck of the woods I have vagcom !! Bit of a mission away I know !!

Hopefully the garage can tell me tomorrow morning what the prob is

Just an update in case anyone else gets the same problem - i had a garage look at it and it's the temperature coolant sensor. Is only about £25 so is good
