Offered to change the wife’s car, so after she rejected my offerings, she looked at Seat for another Leon, very disappointed with the range she‘s gonna rethink the other options or just to her White mk3 version, is imagination in short supply with some marques?

Seriously?

Most of the colour choices from car manufacturers comprise different shades of blandness.
Yep, BMW 3 series: Black, White Red, Blue and 3 (yes 3) different shade of grey🥴
Of course, it may have something to do with the fact that they're hoping you cough up for paint from the Individual palette

Grey may have been the most popular purchase, but was it through choice? chatting to guys in the trade grey seems the easiest colour to access on the order form so possibly shorter time on delivery may influence buyers? Dependent on optional colour cost I might take the cheapest(free ) option and wrap it from new.

That seemed to be VW’s tactic a few years ago when the free colour on the mk7.5 Golf was ‘Black Reuben’ - a muddy burgundy brown colour - see picture below. Needless to say, it didn’t seem to be a very popular colour with customers and was dropped after a fairly short period of time, so the vast majority of Golf buyers at the time paid extra for a nicer colour.

I like that at least is different

Car colours are soo boring.

I love seeing an odd or different colour other than black white silver or grey

I was thinking the other day. Green is a nice colour why is there not more greens. Nice greens i mean. I would be all for a green car

Example... absolutely love this colour

VW’s Black Reuben colour wouldn’t be for me, but it’s good we don’t all like the same things.

I agree on green though - and that Alfa looks great in green.

I’ve never owned a green coloured car in well over 40 years of car ownership, but I’d quite like a Mini in British Racing Green with black bonnet stripes, roof and mirror caps.

Our popular car colours choices are the same reason that, when you are abroad, people can tell you are British just from the clothes you are wearing.
