Paddle extensions

Anyone got any that will fit the cupra 280 as I am finding the ones that come as standard a bit fiddly when I'm trying to change gear.

Oh they are on the market but good ones are not cheap,
Just search in Google for it an 4sure 1 US company offers them specially made but not cheap
I agree they are way too small atm

personally, id go uber cheap and if they dont work, then go uber expensive

I did post the question in the FAQ section. But didn't really get anywhere. I bought some from Ebay. However when I got them I realised that they didn't fit all that well to the paddle so I sent them back. I have not found any paddles specifically for the Seat range so gave up looking.

The problem I found wasn't the shape of the outer edge of the paddle. It was getting the curve right where your fingers sit.

I did mean to go and have a look at a Golf to see what if any differences there are. Sadly never got round to doing it. Would still love to find some though. As I said in my other post. Find it strange that the paddles are set up at the 9:15 position but the steering wheel hand mouldings are for the 10 to 2 position (Hope that makes sense).

Yes so the paddles are the same but because the steering wheels themselves are slightly different it must cause issues in extending them?

When I tried the paddles I got it seamed that they only fit half the paddle leaving a big gap. That you would think they would snap off at some time.

Did you get the fake metal or fake carbon ones?

The fake metal ones seem a bit more stocky, some may even be real Chinese crap metal too if you're lucky, but not as thin and like you say fragile looking as the carbon ones.

To be fair they seemed alright. Plastic paddle with fake carbon decor. Just the area that you stick to the actual paddle didn't fit the contour properly.
