Anyone here had their car treated with paintshield? its supposed to stop chips and stuff but wondered but the general view is? no idea how much it costs so ive sent an email but would like real life feedback if possible - i live in/around manchester if anyone knows of a dealer!

Cheers :)

Had mine done today with full bonnet, full wings, full bumper and most wing mirrors (Not complete on mirrors)

Will post up pictures today or tomorrow when I get a chance.

Admin, can I give you the contact details of the firm that fitted mine so they can discuss what SCN and the firm may be able to provide for SCN members?

reading the painshield.co.uk site and this made me laugh

Ninth: We are specialists in this business, this is all we do no Online shopping sites no Adult Toy division nothing but Film, first and foremost!!

So no toys only adult film :D

BTW is anyone else appalled by the lack of punctuation and english in that sentence. How can you do nothing but film, and then it be first and foremost?

Supaguard is the acrylic 'sealant' product that you spray and wipe onto the car to make cleaning easier.

So what is paintshield and how much does it cost?

I got supaguard done on my car, thought - brand new car - might as well try and protect it

but the general consenus is it will only last a few months and its a waste of money :(

Paint Shield = Film covering car
Supaguard = chemical solution colvering your car

Cost I would ask you to get in touch with Paint Shield directly.

Asked the guy if he would give SCN some discount, he said he would sort something out, but I assume he needs to talk to SCN Admin to arrange something.

As promised, pictures. These are not up close and were taken after fitting by the owner of the firm for his use. Will get some good quality up close shots so you can see what the quality of the work is like.

Damn. Well i have just got out of the tube so will fire up the laptop in an hour and edit the post. I could swear i posted it before i left work. If you hit photobucket for user Pummy24 they can be found there as i have to do a few things before i will get online

Click on full size and also take into account this is where the bonnet meets the passenger side light and the left hand side of the centre section.

The other macro shot is the driver side foglight housing at the bottom of the bumper.

that looks good. is there any gaurantee against peeling? i guess there must be. do you have a link for further info?
i could well be interested in this.
