panel or bmc?

hi guys, have just picked up my cupra tdi, and am just wondering what is rated best for the pd160 engine, as i have a bmc from my old clio 182 still laying around that i know will fit, or will a panel filter in the standard airbox work better as the caf is so good as standard? cheers in advance!

I had a Green Cotton panel filter and smoothed airbox and I'm now running a open cone filter and thing its much better than the panel filter.

If you already have the BMC kicking round you might as well try it, its not going to cost anything to try is it..

Id go with the BMC, the standard airbox is too restrictive i think.

Try them both if you have them and see what suits you best

iv got a bmc cda in my ibiza fs and its makes some difference but not massive gains, plus you get a really nice sound from it

has anyone got any pictures of how they have run their cold air feed, as it seems like its going to be quite awkward to get a decent one direct to it!
