Will the basic OBDeleven be able to do this or do you need to go pro? Sorry this is new to me, trying to get my head around it because a couple of weeks after my car is supposed to be delivered it's my birthday so OBDeleven may be going on my presents list!

You need pro, basic is just for diagnostics the code stuff comes through pro but as above you may be able to find someone local that's willing

Activated parkpilot display with vcds short while ago, everything is working except 1 thing. It doesn't get off the display once taken out reverse gear. There is a massive delay, im wondering if a setting is available to alter delay time

It delays it so that if you have to wiggle around to get in a tight space, the screen isn't going on and off whenever you go in and out of reverse. Passenger mirror lowering works on the same basis.

Hi to all!

New to this forum and looking to do some mods for my first Leon FR :)

Just to clarifie, if I install aftermarket parking sensors theres no way to get the parkpilot display working? Seat dealer in Estonia offered steelmate sensors for front and back. For rear sensors and install it would cost me about 275 euros.

Both my previous 2014 FR and my new 2017 CUPRA have park pilot enabled - I never had to use OBDeleven to enable anything.

If you have parking sensors factory fitted then it should be there by default. There is an option in the menu setting to turn ParkPilot on/off so whether this stops it displaying?

Also strange that some people don't have either a Parking Aid button or the ParkPilot display enabled as standard on an FR spec. Must have cut back on the spec of the facelift - what you give with one hand you take with another!

I am second owner for my car (2014 FR) and currently it doesn’t have any sensors installed. Asked from a local Stealer and they offered aftermarket (or at least I think they are aftermarket) steelmate sensors for front and back. Total for both would be like 500 euros, but if steelmate doesn’t work with ParkPilot display then they are useless. In that case the next option would be looking for OEM ones, strange that they don’t offer those here in Estonia :(

Anyone knows if it is possible to install only front sensors? I’m planning to fit camera to the back anyway, so back sensors are not that important at the moment.

SEAT dropped the front parking sensors pre-facelift in early 2016. My FR was built a few weeks after this, and therefore didn't get them. Coming from a Focus Titanium with all the parking toys, it was hard to get used to rear sensors only and just beeps to tell you if anything's in the way!

There's a company that retrofits them and gives you the ParkPilot. I would get this done tomorrow, but not at the cost of over £600, that's just crazy. Especially as it only costs £165 as an option in the first place. I know there's some work involved in doing the retrofit, and it's easy to do it at the build stage, but......

I’m the same as you rear sensors only but I turned park pilot on through obdeleven, if you were interested in getting it back that is!

I'm just about to order an FR Tech ST, was debating getting the parking add on but didn't want the camera. Only interested in just front sensors.

I didn't know it was possible to get the park pilot enabled via VCDS when you've got just rear sensors but my rest is at mind now.

List of changes i need to make via VCDS is getting bigger and bigger.

These guys offer front sensors:
carsystems.pl/new-seat-leon-5f-park-pilot-front-w-ops-5q0919294b-upgrade-kit,id1284.html

But I don't understand what means this part: Seat LEON 5F - with cars factory fitted rear PDC
If I don't have rear sensor then they won't work or what?
