Hi I bought an Exeo a few years ago and realised there was only ever one set of parking bulbs (side lights) in use until I found the others.
I'm having trouble finding where the slot is for the ones nearest the headlight bulbs, has anyone a pic of the light housing?
Also my headlight adjustment doesn't work I can turn the switch inside but the lights don't move

There is always the Erwin manuals if you register as a small business and buy a couple of hours of online time. They are the official service manuals. You might find youtube videos which have been put up by helpful guys. Certainly there were some that showed the procedure to get at the halogen bulbs in the pre face-lift Ateca that had a sprinkle of these bulbs... not being really full LED as the blurb at the time. The user manual, if you haven't got it may show some aspects.

Also of use would be checking out the Vag sister cars of the time which probably contained the same units. Another way of looking at it if you draw a blank on the model.

So I went at this today, what a nightmare but I've got the knack to it today without taking out the headlights. So the Exeo like mine have two parking bulbs in each headlamp.. one accessible up to corner of the back of the lights the other not so easy..
The harder one is fitted into a cylinder type bulb holder which is slotted into a hole.
My remedy was using my camera on my phone to see into the back of the light..
One side I could do while looking at my phone using it like a mirror the other I felt around for the screw head you can see in the pic and I knew the hole was just beneath it..
Some people don't realise there are two sets of bulbs in each!!!

ive got xenon headlights so its even worse to try and change bulbs due to the ballast packs at the rear of the lights, when ever i changed bulbs its been wheels off bumper off head lights out ... so ive got LED indicator bulbs front & rear and LED markers,,, the little 501s in the top corners (cant remember what brand they were)

581 Twenty20 CanPlus 2.0 LED Canbus Bulb PY21W Anti HyperFlash (Amber) indicators
382 Twenty20 CanPlus 2.0 LED Canbus Bulbs P21W (White) for reversing lights

from Auto Bulbs Direct had them since Aug 2023 and no problems with canbus warnings

I changed all the halogen bulbs in a 2017 Xcellence Ateca to LED except the fog light at the front. Not worth the hassle and I never used them. Got them all from Aliexpress taking the recommendation of German and Spanish Ateca boards at the time. Threads on the Ateca side.

The "fully LED" Xcellence was a curious time at launch. It wasnt. Halogen rear indicators, reversing lights etc. 8 years of faultless service from the LED bulbs I replaced them with. The reversing lights are exceptionally bright providing good illumination on the rear camera. The rear indicators are nice and bright so people notice them.

Seats cunning plan to hold something back to put in the next release. Rumbled. The Tarraco light bar wasnt in the first release model. A pretend piece of plastic. Some people upgraded that themselves on the Tarraco thread. Recent Atecas are better served. The Xcellence was near excellent but something could be done about it being eXcellence. The missing e. The lesser model back in 2016/17 didnt even have the near fully LED as the Xcellence. I dont think it was penny pinching on Seat's part but a deliberate way of holding back the goodies. Witness the VZ marketing now.
