Parking Sensors Not working

Hi Guys, I have searched the forum and cant find anything on this.

My parking sensors on my 06 leon have stopped working, well I no longer get any beeps
so I do not know if it is the sensors or a speaker issue,
Has anyone got any advice for me?

Is there a on off button that I may have pressed or something with the radio?

Thats because most aftermarket ones are powered by the reverse light wire, the reverse light will only come on when the boot is closed properley.

Mine were fitted by Seat when I bought it so assumed they were factory

If they were fitted at the dealership then they won't be, stick a picture of them up and I should be able to tell you

Where do OEM ones get power from then? not reverse circuit still?

They were done at the dealership, I just assumed as they did it it would be the factory ones, they are colour coded and all that jazz, will try and get a pic up later

I believe the speakers is a common issue on the Octavia. If it's the same parking sensors then it would make sense it could be a problem on the Leon.

Do you get a graphical display? If so, then I'd say speakers.

I assumed he had an RNS310 or RNS315. They give a graphical display showing how close you are.

If he hasn't, I know my dad has an RCD310 and his displays a graphic as well, but that's in a Golf.

Nath when you select reverse does your car not turn down the music and put a car on the radio screen showing orange and red bars showing which area of the car is close to something?
Mine does and I know someone with a FR+ and it does the same.

Mines the same. Bars are yellow and as you get very close turn red

Nope, it turns down the music and beeps but that's it.

Maybe mine isn't enabled?

Where is this in the owners book?

I think you only get the optical park system if you have front sensors
