There was a thread on here months ago about a rear parking sensor that fits around the number plate. So you don't need to drill the bumper.
Does anyone know which thread it was?
I've spent about an hour trying to find it!

LoL, I'd been searching on here as that was where I'd seen it. I've just found the thread now , but the seller on ebay doesn't sell them anymore :(

I've looked at the link thanks :)
It might be suitable, but the one I was really after is this one: (4th post) HERE.

they look good on the dull bit, my dealer would not fit them on the FR as he said they couldn`t fit !! I was going to get the seat kit and fit myself as it comes colour coded, but they llok good, is it the seat kit, and do they plug in ?

I think the ones in the pic are the Seat sensors, but ive read on here that my dealer doesn't use the Seat kit he use's laserline? as he rate them better! i'm not sure tho, as they look the same!

Colour coded dealer fit on my FR:

The dealer reckons they are going to be made available from the factory as per the Cupra pic above, all the sensors on the matt black part of the rear bumper on FR and Cupra.

Do you think there would be enough cover just in the black bit ? looks like the corners are covered better in the bumper ? Does the seat kit link into the mfd anyway, or is it just a bleeping from the boot ??

Couldn't comment on the coverage but the MFD does not give any indication of distance, bleeps just from the rear and volume on stereo does not decrease on the dealer fit kit.

So an aftermarket kit is as usefull/good as the seat kit ? do standard black plastic ones match the dull black bit in the buimper or do they need painted ?
