Parrot bluetooth kit - dilemma!

Hi fella's

As suggested in the title I have a small dilemma on my hands! My company is providing me with a nice little parrot kit on tuesday but I am unsure where to mount the screen...

I have done a search and the only pics I can find is of the screen mounted over the airbag warning light (not great IMO) or on a poorly fitting bracket next to the stereo meaning the H/U won't sit flush and also causing problems opening the glovebox!

Suggestions of other suitable places would be great and pics would be an even bigger bonus!

I had mine mounted on the dash in front of the A - Pilar, looked fine and very functional there.

Mines not as posh as yours Lee - I'll be getting the CK3100... however that looks like a good place to mount it! Bit of a shame that holes need to be drilled though!

Mine is just below the drivers air vent, to right of the steering wheel above the light controls.

It looks just like one here

Thats great! Any info on how it's mounted would be fantastic - has to be the best option I've seen so far!

I had mine fitted and placed the screen myself to the left and below the speedo so I can see it over the left spoke of the steering wheel in the VRS, its not cluttering up the dash and Pretty much I am the only occupant of the car that needs to and can see it.

Thanks dude! Do you know what they used to mount it mate? Want to make sure they get it right tomorrow! Also, is the display easy to read in that location?

I fitted it myself

i didnt want to drill or glue onto my dash so i used a super strong black tack (i think its similar to the same stuff they use on windscreens lol

I got the one without the screen but it is mountexd in a similar location as other have said...

Right I've had it installed and somewhere that I hadn't even considered! Thats right - in the boot

Not really... it's mounted at the top of the windscreen just above the rear view mirror! The installer suggested it after he realised I was going to be anal about the whole thing and am blatently over precious of my little LCR!

Will grab some pics for y'all tomorrow after I've given it a good wash

mines mounted on the slide out cup holder.... it never gets used so ideal place to put it, doesn't obstruct anything and doesn't get hot on a vent (which i have always thorght was a bad idea.... heat and elecronics don't mix well!!!) dash is also soft here so easy to fit wire between facia and dash.
