I know it isn't a Cupra (53 Leon TDI 130) but wondered if anyone could help.

Just had a run-in with a Partridge, thankfully the only damage to the car is the lower middle grill (under the numberplate), oh and the Partridge!

The grill did what it was supposed to do, protected the radiator but it's now compromised and I'd like to get it sorted just in case I run in to something else

Does anyone know the number, price or where I can get a replacement from, searched the obvious forums etc. but couldn't find anything specific, prefer not to go to a main dealer if I can help it.

Thanks
Mark

Mark, which car do you have? Cupra or Cupra R also if its the Cupra then what year? I'm guessing its the Cupra R as you mentioned the middle grill. Contact David from Sere Motors (Seat trader) on here as he can do discounts and post it to you unless you know someone with a TPS (trade account).

link for Sere Motors: http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=249

grill part no: LOWER CENTRE GRILLE 1ML85366879Y £27 (price is from Feb 2011)

I just replaced my front grills. Went to a dealer and the fog light ones were only £6.50 and are just one screw to remove to change them. Would assume the others are the same price but I read you need to remove the front bumper to replace the middle one?

Unfortunately it isn't a Cupra, would like one but can't afford the fuel bill!

Thanks for the link SalSheikh, I'll contact David and see if he can help. Hopefully it'll be easy to change, though removing and replacing the bumper shouldn't be too bad from what others have said, just time consuming.

Will phone David tomorrow morning, i see he's around today but it is a Sunday. No SEAT dealer around here, went bust, along with the local Honda dealer which was run by the same company....

Sorry to hijack your thread a bit, but are there any good modification grills for the non-cupra R bumpers/ like nice metal ones rather than standard rubbish plastic honeycomb ones? Maybe 'slats' ones like on the Cupra R either side of the Seat badge but for all the grills? Or a nice metal mesh?
Had a search but with no results
