Hi all i need a pair of inner driveshaft boot i did get some from my local ces, but these were univeral and my mechanic says i really need the proper ones, they are like a 50p shape inside, anyone know where i'd get a pair of these from that aren't gonna be mega bucks and would anyone know how much they are likely to be at the main dealers.

thanks for the info i will ty them in the morning, i want them done so i don't have to end up haveing the steering rack done. And i dont get my nails dirty or broke hence either my dad or the mechanic doing it for a foreigner.

Which part are you actually looking for? A knackered driveshaft boot won't make your steering rack fail.

I don't mean steering rack i mean the drive shaft,(as i need to replace the inner drive shaft boots), as if i don't get them sorted as the inner boots are ripped to shreads well one is off now as i have it in the boot, surely it won't do the drive shaft anygood.

*and i keep getting myself mixed up with steering rack and drive shaft as i'm a woman lol.

got my inner cv gaiters from a vw and audi specialist today from wilsons motor services, rhuddlan, for 27 each so hopefully they will be put on over the weekend.

Try AVS for VW/SEAT parts. Get most of my bits from them.
