I'll be keeping an eye on this thread. Been wanting to do a full led conversion inside and out since I got the car but I'm not wanting any errors popping up.

Does anyone know for certain how many and what style bulbs I'd need for the full interior??? Its the facelift model so I'm pretty sure there different.

Im pleased to say we have the resistors in stock now and have tried a couple of cars with them. So far so good ! No error messages so far.. Touch wood.

You can either buy them as a pair or you can include them in a full LED kit.
Please bare in mind that they do get hot, so be careful where you put them. Ideally they should screw onto metal, but the folks that have tested them for us have just left them free behind the existing lighting.
They are really simple to install. Its just a case of connecting the resistors up to each wire going to your number plate lights.
Any questions just ask.

I ordered 2 sets of LEDs for my mk5 FR for my sidelights and have to say quick delivery and surprised to see I had to sign for them but prefer that for security as a mate had next door sign for a forge recirculating DV and never got it. But touch wood never had any errors with the LEDs and loving the look so will defo be buying more from yourselves.

We'd rather send them recorded so they get to you. We've had a few go missing in the past and they are a bit on the expensive side if they do.

tbh we've not updated the kit since we started selling them. If you ordered them and any were wrong we'll be happy to change them for you. I can update our website then ! lol
These look good. Glad I stumbled across this thread because I've been considering an LED upgrade but I've got a FL and didn't realise most error-free LED kits would still potentially give errors on a FL.
It would be good to see some pictures of where people are mounting/bolting the additional resistors because I don't like the idea of just leaving them hanging free which could be a disaster waiting to happen if they get as hot as some comments are suggesting and end up touching some plastic parts or the wiring loom.

Just looking at the type or resistor from the pictures these will deffo get hot unless fitted to a heatsink which is specified within the datasheet of the product.
The 50W which is stated is only achievable when using a certain size heatsink fitted to the resistors.
If the power going through these is alot less then obviously a smaller heatsink is required. If they are getting that hot (as stated) then I would recommend fitting them to something metal to act as a heatsink.

Yes the resistor has a slight heatsink around the edge, but to obtain the full 50W then it needs fitting to a heatsink.
I'm not sure what current is going through these, but if there getting that warm then it shows the should ideally have a heatsink.
