Been pulling my hair out or what I left :D

The car locks all doors first time when pressing the key fob once but when trying to unlock and pressing the key fob button twice it unlocks all doors apart from the front passenger door. I can't work it out......

I have tried both keys. I have read the manual about a million times and I have played with the emergency manual locking tab on the inside of the door but it seems to make no difference which side its on, it doesnt open from the outside.

I've tried locking car with door open and unlocking again but no luck. once I have opened the door from the inside after the car is unlocked the door opens fine from the outside but as soon i lock it again the whole process starts all over again.

Can anyone help?

This happened to me a few days ago.

I took the plug out of the emergency locking device on the rear edge of the door, operated the yellow locking 'switch' a few times and all is back to normal.

Update:

Mine started being an intermittent fault, now it's been u/s for a week, oh well:cry:

Mine had this.
Door locking module.
Common prob like all the rest...

I my case, rear right door was out of function ( I could open it only from inside)
Solution from another site:
I bought a eletrical cleaner and I spray it in hole below plate/ latch and spray it on plate/latch itself.
I supose that the cleaner is reach the microswich and clen the grese on it.
I spray it one day for 5 sec, and second day for 5 sec and now is WORKING.

Pleased to report our front passenger door has behaved itself for over a month now.

I will try switch/electrical cleaner if it miss/behaves:whistle:
